2026 Future 'Breds

FutureBreds is returning in 2026 and is designed for young athletes born in 2017 or 2018 who are eager to develop their basketball skills in a structured and supportive environment.

This program is a 26 week intense training sessions with our Directors of Coaching, focusing on skill development, confidence, and preparation for each athlete’s first VJBL season.

Tryout Details

Date: Friday 6th February
Time: 5:00pm–6:00pm
Location: Cobblebank Stadium

The 2026 FutureBreds program will commence on Friday 20th February 2026.

Players will have the opportunity to step onto the court at selected Big V games and join the Big V athletes for some pre-game warms ups and player introductions. Afterwards, they can sit on the end of the bench and see what it's like to be part the action.

Training: Friday's from 5pm - 6pm at Cobblebank Stadium.

Cost: $320 for the year, includes a Future 'Breds singlet to keep.

Tournaments: Players will enter into a minimum of 2 tournaments in 2025 to put what they have learned into practice. Tournaments for selected players will come at an additional cost. More information will be communicated to those selected.
